Welcome to the new website. This has been long overdue and has taken three months to complete. The public area of the site has seen small incremental updates and revisions while the backend and Tenant password protected areas have seen huge updates.
Neighborhood Info
Lincoln Apartments is located in the city of Austin, MN which has a population of 23,314 and is the county seat of Mower County. Although Lincoln Apartments is nestled in a nice quiet residential neighborhood, it is ideally located near the heart of the town. There are numerous amenities all within walking distance that includes bike and walking trails, parks, the Paramount Theater, Riverside Arena, Packer Arena, and the downtown district to name but a few.
One block over on 4th Avenue N.E. is the neighborhood gas and convenience store which is ideal in case you need to pick up a few grocery items or need to refuel your vehicle. Lincoln Apartments is close to nearby large employers such as Hormel Foods Corporation, Austin Medical Center, and the University of Minnesota Hormel Institute. When you are looking for a safe, extremely quiet apartment building then this is the place for you to call home.
Mill Pond Trail
The Mill Pond Trail is a short 1 block walk down Fifth Avenue heading west. This trail offers a 0.88 mile walk around Austin's Mill Pond that crosses by the Austin Public Library, Austin's Municipal Pool and Park, and the Hormel Plant.
Austin Public Library
The City of Austin's 26,800 square feet Library opened in September 1996. It is situated so that it overlooks the historic Mill Pond and is adjacent to Horace Austin Park and the Mill Pond Trail. The library's circulation is over 90,000 volumes which include a wide variety of newspapers, magazines, CD's, and DVD's. The library also features public use of its computers, audio-visual equipment, and is a Free Wi-Fi Hotspot.
Austin, MN Drivers Bureau
Located in the renovated and Historic Milwaukee Road Train Depot, this is where all the residents of Austin, MN go to either renew their driver's license or apply for one. The building still has the old historical "Milwaukee Road" lettered sign above its main entrance. The lobby features a glass display case with Milwaukee Road memorabilia.
